Forerunner Award

Ms. East, an international court qualified Forensic Document Examiner,  is Ethics Officer of the International Association of Document Examiners, the organization that certifies and monitors the profession,  which has less than 2,000 practitioners in the world.  East is also holds a Masters  in Graphology, and  a member of the International Graphoanalysis Society, the British Society of Graphoanalysts and a member of the Association of Qualified Graphologists.  In this regard, East stands out as the first woman of color practicing in both fields of this elite profession in the world.  To view Ms East's full biography, please click here.

Predisident-elect of the Association of Black Cardiologists, Barbara Hutchinson M.D., Ph.D., FACC, always knew she wanted to be a doctor. A childhood curiosit about heart disease in her father's family, led to her eventual specializtion. And it is her attendtion to detail and charming personality that has earned her more than 100,000 patients during her 20-year career.  Dr. Hutchinson belives that good health is the cornerston of progress. Trailblazer Award

A true pioner, Gordon Henderson was the first Creole Musician signed to a major French label, Barclay, which is today a part of Universal. He is know as the Godfather of cadence-lypso: a fusion of cadence and calypso. Henderson has received numerous awards to include the AFRICAR MUSIC AWARDS (Ivory Coast), the Golden Drum. Lt Col Shawna Rochelle Kimbrell grew up in Parker, Colorado and attended the United States Air Force (USAF) Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado She was commissioned in 1998 and holds a Bachelor os Science Degree in General Engineering. Superstar Maxi Priest is one of those artists whose own unique vision has led him to tremendous international success, being the first reggae artist to have  a No. 1 hit worldwide, including the U.S. Billboard charts.

Max Alfred "Maxi" Elliott (born 10 June 1961), known as Maxi Priest, was born in Lewisham, London, the second to last of nine brothers and sisters. Michael Thompson (aka Freestylee, Artist Without Borders)   is strongly committed to what he calls Creative Activism. His passionate poster art expresses solidarity with visionaries across the globe committed to fighting against social ills such as worldwide poverty and racism.
