The Caribbean American Heritage Awards includes a veritable Who's Who among Caribbean Americans and Friends of the Caribbean.  From the Caribbean Diplomatic Corps who serve as Honorary Patrons to the Honorary Gala Chairs, such as Congresswoman Donna Christensen of the US Virgin Islands, to the Gala Host Committee which includes leaders such as author and noted graphologist Beverley East and PEPCO Executive Kim Watson, to the Honorees who are the stars of the evening.  The Mighty Sparrow, Dr. Francisco Slinger, honored in 2001 is pictured above from his appearance in 2008.
